Synopsis

The consecutive Uninhabited Island Exams have come to an end, but the ripples they left behind are far from settled. Ayanokōji's inexplicable actions, prioritizing his own personal feelings alongside the exam results, continues to cause a stir. The following day, Ayanokōji heads out to meet Hiyori, whom he hasn’t had a chance to speak with since the exams. However, his plans are interrupted when the school summons the four third-year leaders. They are informed of a third consecutive special exam: the Shipboard Competitive Special Exam. This new test is an all-out war, pitting a coalition of first- and second-year students against the third-years across twenty different competitive events. The underclassmen are allowed to request a single handicap to level the playing field, but— “Effective immediately, Ayanokōji is strictly prohibited from participating in this special exam in any capacity. He is ordered to remain on standby in a separate room until its conclusion.” Orchestrated by the unseen will of an unknown underclassman, Ayanokōji is barred from the exam and effectively placed under confinement…!? “Tell me, Utomiya-kun… just how much do you know about Ishigami-kun?”
